*Traditionally Veterinary Client Care Advisors have been referred to as receptionists. However, many colleagues who work in veterinary client care perceive this term as outdated and failing to represent the breadth of knowledge and skills required to work in veterinary practice. Most of the major employers within the veterinary profession, both in the UK and the USA, refer to their colleagues who work in client care as Veterinary Client Care Advisors or Client Service Representatives.
